Thieves Seek Divine Favor After Robbery, Arrested Following Hills Visit

Must read

In a curious turn of events, thieves who were involved in a chain-snatching incident ventured to the Male Mahadeshwara Hills, seeking a divine intervention after their criminal act. The suspects, identified as Manjunath and Yatish, were apprehended as part of an ongoing investigation into their illegal activities. The accused reportedly resorted to robbery in pursuit of a luxurious lifestyle. The incident in question occurred on August 13, when an elderly woman named Shyamala was robbed in front of her residence. Following the robbery, Manjunath and his accomplice Yatish embarked on a pilgrimage to the Male Mahadeshwara Hills, seemingly as an act of seeking blessings for the success of their ill-gotten gains. However, divine intervention did not shield them from the reach of the law. Upon their return from the pilgrimage, the police took them into custody, thereby thwarting their attempt to evade accountability for their actions. During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that the accused were involved in multiple thefts, including bike thefts. The stolen items included a 25-gram gold chain and three motorcycles. Consequently, the police have confiscated these items and placed the arrested individuals behind bars at Parappa’s Agrahara jail. This intriguing incident serves as a reminder that actions have consequences, regardless of any purported divine interventions. As law enforcement agencies continue their efforts to maintain order and justice, stories like these underline the complexities and surprises that often arise in the course of criminal investigations.
