Reliance Jio has introduced new prepaid plans that include a bundled Netflix subscription, marking the first time that Netflix subscriptions are being offered on prepaid plans. Previously, Netflix subscriptions were available on select Jio Postpaid and Jio Fiber plans. Under this new offering, Jio prepaid customers can choose from two plans that come with a Netflix subscription. The Rs 1,099 plan includes a Netflix mobile-only subscription. The Rs 1,499 plan provides subscribers with access to Netflix Basic. Both of these plans have a validity period of 84 days. By introducing these bundled plans, Reliance Jio aims to provide its over 400 million prepaid customers with the opportunity to enjoy Netflix content as part of their mobile plans. This partnership with Netflix showcases Jio’s commitment to providing value-added services and enhancing customer experiences. Netflix has a diverse library of films and series, including both local Indian content and international hits. This collaboration allows Jio customers to access a wide range of content, from popular Indian series and films to globally acclaimed shows like Money Heist, Squid Game, Stranger Things, and more. Tony Zameczkowski, Vice President of APAC Partnerships for Netflix, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting the growing collection of must-watch stories that appeal to Indian audiences and viewers around the world. The move reflects Jio’s ongoing efforts to offer innovative services and cater to the entertainment needs of its customers, further enhancing its position in the Indian telecommunications and digital services market.
