Abhishek Bachchan recently spoke about how hard megastar like Amitabh Bachchan and superstar like Shah Rukh Khan work. According to him, that is what makes them great.
In an interview with Humans of Bombay, Abhishek revealed that when he was growing up, there were weeks on end when he wouldn’t see his father, and he was sleeping in the bed about 10 feet away from him because he used to leave for work before he woke up in the morning, and he’d come back after he had gone to bed. So, although they were staying under the same roof, he didn’t get to his father because that is how hard he worked. The actor also added that the Senior Bachchan works six days a week even at the age of 81.
Spilling some beans on working with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Happy New Year’, Abhishek added that the superstar is like an assistant. He doesn’t even look at the watch and it is all about work for him.
Abhishek is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, ‘Ghoomer’ where he will be seen essaying the role of a cricket coach. Directed by R Balki, the film also stars Saiyami Kher, Angad Bedi and Shabana Azmi in lead roles. It is slated to hit the theatres on August 18, 2023.
