Protesting local leaders have strongly condemned recent police action against students demonstrating over exam irregularities. Karave faction president Abhishek Balaji raised serious concerns after security forces lathi-charged candidates peacefully raising their voices against National Eligibility cum Entrance Test question paper leaks.
Balaji called the sudden police response an anti-democratic violation of basic fundamental rights to peaceful assembly. He emphasized that millions of hardworking candidates spend years sacrificing time, effort, and family savings to prepare for national competitive exams. However, frequent question paper leaks, sudden exam cancellations, and broken testing systems have completely shattered student dreams while destroying public trust in national examination boards.
During his address, the youth leader demanded the immediate resignation of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, holding central leadership morally responsible for widespread administrative failures. He further urged authorities to launch a thorough, independent investigation led by a retired Supreme Court judge to expose every individual involved in the exam racket.
Balaji stressed that peaceful student demonstrations should never face police violence or administrative suppression. He warned that if authorities continue ignoring legitimate student demands, regional groups will organize larger public movements across Karnataka to defend youth rights and preserve the integrity of the national education system.
