VIJAYAPURA
The Agriculture Department has invited applications from eligible beneficiaries under the Hi-Tech Harvester Hub Programme for the 2026-27 financial year. The scheme provides subsidies for establishing Sugarcane Harvester Hubs and Combine Harvester Hubs to promote farm mechanisation and improve harvesting efficiency.
According to the Joint Director of Agriculture, the scheme is open to individual beneficiaries from the General and Scheduled Caste categories, as well as farmer groups, cooperatives and registered institutions interested in setting up Sugarcane Harvester Hubs. Eligible beneficiaries from both categories can also avail subsidies for establishing Combine Harvester Hubs. Interested farmers, farmer organisations and institutions have been asked to submit their applications on or before August 10, 2026.For detailed information regarding eligibility, subsidy norms and the application process, applicants may contact the Office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture, the Joint Director of Agriculture said in a press release.
