Hosapete
In Hosapete, the Slum People’s Association distributed notebooks and geometry boxes to more than 50 slum students at a programme held in Gautam Buddha AC Function Hall. The event was sponsored by social worker Chand Bhasha and organised with support from local volunteers. Speaking at the function, district president H Sesha said slum children should not be deprived of education as imagined by Babasaheb Ambedkar. He added that education can help them achieve higher positions in society and build a better future.
