Bangladesh’s strong ODI series win over Australia has caused a big shake-up in the latest ICC men’s ODI rankings. Their bowlers stole the show with impressive performances that pushed them up the list. Left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam was the biggest gainer from the series. His stunning six-wicket haul in the final match helped him climb 10 places to reach 18th position. Fellow pacers Mustafizur Rahman jumped 12 spots to share 25th, while Taskin Ahmed moved up five places to 27th.

Batter Towhid Hridoy also shone brightly, scoring 154 runs in the three matches, including a highest of 83. He gained seven places to settle at 20th in the batting rankings. Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz rose six spots to 13th among batters after smashing a brilliant century against India.

The West Indies-Sri Lanka ODI series also brought major changes. West Indies fast bowler Shamar Joseph had a dream run, taking 11 wickets and winning Player of the Series as his team won 2-1. He shot up a massive 42 places to 27th. Jason Holder gained 11 places to reach 28th.

For Sri Lanka, despite the series loss, Kamil Mishara climbed 24 places to 18th in batting. Spin stars Wanindu Hasaranga moved to eighth, and Dunith Wellalage rose to 17th in the bowling charts. These ranking shifts highlight the exciting depth in world cricket right now.
