Raichur
An accidental fire destroyed four haystacks, causing losses worth lakhs of rupees in Mansalapur village of Raichur taluk. The incident occurred near the Jambalamma temple, where two haystacks belonging to farmer Yenkappa and two others owned by Bhimayya were completely gutted in the blaze.
The fire also caused partial damage to a nearby house belonging to Hanumesh. According to sources, villagers immediately alerted the fire brigade, but by the time they arrived, all four haystacks had already been reduced to ashes. Fire personnel later managed to bring the flames under control after strenuous efforts. The incident falls under the jurisdiction of the Rural Police Station, and further details are awaited.
