South Indian superstar Allu Arjun has expressed deep grief over the tragic blast that occurred near Delhi’s Red Fort on Monday evening, killing eight people and injuring several others. According to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the explosion occurred at around 7 p.m. when a Hyundai i20 car blew up at the Subhash Marg traffic signal near the Red Fort. The blast injured several pedestrians and damaged nearby vehicles.
Delhi Police have registered a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the Explosives Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Kotwali Police Station. Multiple agencies are investigating the cause and motive of the explosion.
Sources said the car had entered Delhi from Haryana via Badarpur and was allegedly purchased by a Pulwama resident. The key suspect has been identified as Dr. Umar.
