Actress Rukmini Vasanth has sparked a wave of speculation online after calling director Prashanth Neel a “genius” during an Instagram Q&A session, leading fans to believe she may be part of the much-hyped #NTRNeel project starring Jr NTR.
Rukmini, fresh from the success of ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’, was asked by a fan to describe Neel in one word. Her simple response—“Genius”—set social media abuzz, especially amid growing rumors linking her to Neel’s upcoming film with Jr NTR.
When another fan directly asked if she was part of the project, Rukmini playfully replied, “Aha, the worst kept secret of the season, isn’t it? I think everyone already knows more than I’m allowed to say!” Though she didn’t confirm her involvement, her cheeky answer was enough to send fans into a frenzy.
If true, the collaboration between Rukmini Vasanth, Prashanth Neel, and Jr NTR could be one of the biggest cinematic events of 2025. The film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with NTR Arts, is scheduled to release on June 25 next year.
