Kayaka village program transforms Kadavada Gram Panchayat

Bidar

The Kadavada Gram Panchayat recently witnessed the launch of the “Kayaka Village Programme,” a transformative initiative aimed at holistic rural development. The program was spearheaded by GIP CEO Dr. Girisha Badole, who emphasized that the scheme is designed to make villages self-reliant, empowered, and prosperous in all aspects—economic, social, environmental, and cultural.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Badole said, “We are all gathered for an important purpose called the Kayaka Village Programme. Our state government has formulated this scheme to accelerate rural development. The success of this initiative depends on the active participation, responsibility, and service spirit of every citizen in the village.”

The program focuses on upgrading village infrastructure, ensuring access to clean drinking water, and improving sanitation. Priority areas also include road development, promoting a green environment, creating employment opportunities for youth, empowering women, and enhancing the quality of education in schools. Dr. Badole highlighted that the project embodies the belief that “Kayaka is Kailash,” reflecting the vision of achieving prosperity through collective efforts and dedication.

He further added, “If Gram Panchayat members, self-help groups, youth associations, and school teachers join hands, our village can develop into a model Kayaka Village. The program aims to make every family happy, safe, and dignified, spreading the message that villagers are the true leaders of their own development.”

The launch ceremony was attended by Kadavada Gram Panchayat President Sasikala Bukkigara, Vice President Ravi Rajagire, Assistant Director (Administration) Jai Prakash Chavan, Gram Panchayat members, SBM Pandit Wadekara, PDO Sivakumar, school teachers, and local villagers. Their presence reflects the community’s commitment to actively participate in the program and support sustainable development initiatives.

With this project, Kadavada village is set on a path toward comprehensive growth, where infrastructure, social welfare, education, and environment work together to create a thriving, model village for others to emulate.
