The much-awaited film Anaganaga Oka Raju starring Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshi Chaudhary is all set to release on January 14, 2026, during the Sankranthi festival. The makers unveiled a quirky new promo today to announce the release date.
The teaser begins with a fun spoof of a jewelry ad. Meenakshi, mistaking it for another endorsement, talks about 24-carat gold, before Naveen hilariously interrupts by stealing her jewelry and making her reveal the film’s release date.
Interestingly, Meenakshi Chaudhary’s last big hit Sankranthiki Vasthunam also released on January 14, 2025 — exactly a year before this upcoming film. This makes her Sankranthi comeback even more exciting for fans.
For Naveen Polishetty, Anaganaga Oka Raju marks a return after more than two years. His last film, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, was released in September 2023. His new film faced delays due to casting changes, storyline rewrites, and a six-month break caused by injuries.
Directed by newcomer Maari and produced by Sithara Entertainments with Fortune 4 Cinemas, the film is co-written by Naveen and his team.
With its mix of comedy and charm, Anaganaga Oka Raju aims to be a Sankranthi entertainer.
