UP CM Yogi engages 300 experts for ‘Developed UP 2047’ vision

Lucknow
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that the state government has engaged 300 intellectuals, including retired chief secretaries, secretaries, deputy secretaries, and vice-chancellors, to prepare a roadmap for Developed India-Developed Uttar Pradesh 2047. He explained that these experts are visiting academic institutions across the state to hold discussions and gather ideas from the people, ensuring that the state’s long-term development goals are rooted in public participation.

Addressing a workshop on the subject, CM Yogi said, “We gathered 300 intellectuals from the entire state… and asked them to go to various academic institutions of Uttar Pradesh to discuss the vision and resolution of a developed Uttar Pradesh. They agreed, and this program is ongoing. These teams are interacting with people, collecting ideas and suggestions for the state’s future.”

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister launched the ‘Namo Yuva Run’ in Lucknow as part of the Sewa Pakhwada program, being conducted from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday to Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary. The initiative, he said, emphasizes both health and youth participation. The Prime Minister firmly believes that if women are healthy, the youth will also be healthy. A blood donation camp has been organised, and youth from across the country are taking part, he added.

CM Yogi linked the vision of a developed state to the broader concept of self-reliance, underscoring health as a foundation. He cited initiatives like World Yoga Day, Khelo India, and the Fit India Movement as examples of how awareness and community participation can drive progress. Every individual is eager to contribute in their respective fields. We must work towards the development of our villages and regions. The foundation of self-reliance lies in maintaining good health, he said.
