 ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ building inaugurated in Bengaluru

City Officials Highlight CSR Role in Boosting Public Services

Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City, Shri Seemant Kumar Singh, IPS, on Saturday inaugurated the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Building” at the CAR Centre on Mysore Road. The facility was constructed under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of ACT Fibernet and is aimed at supporting civic and police personnel in their service to the city.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials, including Shri Kuldeep Kumar R. Jain, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Administration), and Mr. P.V.V. Srinivasa Rao, CEO of ACT Fibernet, along with other dignitaries. During the event, officials highlighted that the building represents a strong commitment to collaboration between the public and private sectors for the welfare of those serving Bengaluru.

Designed as a symbol of care, compassion, and cooperation, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Building will provide dedicated space for training, coordination, and community-oriented programs led by the city police. Officials noted that such initiatives not only improve operational efficiency but also reinforce the morale of personnel working on the frontlines of public safety.

The facility’s establishment underlines the Importance of CSR contributions in addressing civic needs and strengthening urban governance. Authorities encouraged continued support from private entities to enhance infrastructure and public services in Bengaluru, reinforcing the city’s commitment to cleanliness, civic responsibility, and effective policing.
