Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies of financial reforms, socio-economic change, and inclusive development have been credited with shaping India’s remarkable growth story, Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Wednesday while extending wishes to the Prime Minister on his 75th birthday.
Puri said that never before in independent India’s history has so much progress been achieved in just 11 years. He praised PM Modi’s leadership, calling him a devoted servant of the nation who transformed his journey from a Pracharak to the country’s “Pradhan Sevak.”
He added that under Modi’s leadership, India is steadily moving towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy while also strengthening its global presence. The philosophy of “Sarvodaya through Antyodaya” — development of all through upliftment of the weakest — continues to guide the government’s policies, he noted.
Highlighting Modi’s role during challenging times, Puri cited Operation Sindoor and the Prime Minister’s handling of global crises as examples of decisive and compassionate leadership. According to him, these actions inspire confidence that India is firmly on the right path towards becoming Viksit Bharat (developed India).
Union Railways and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw also lauded Modi’s leadership, saying he has given the country new direction, energy, and vision. He expressed confidence that following Modi’s guidance would help India achieve the goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
Both ministers wished PM Modi long life and good health, emphasizing that his vision continues to inspire India’s economic and social transformation.
