Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, popularly called Bhai, continues to remain one of the most reliable stars at the box office, with most of his films easily crossing the ₹100 crore mark. Even his recent film Sikandar, despite mixed reviews, managed to earn over ₹100 crore, proving his strong audience pull.
In a move that has thrilled fans, the makers of Ek Tha Tiger are preparing to re-release the film in theatres, giving a new generation the chance to watch this blockbuster on the big screen. Originally released in 2012, the movie established Salman as one of Bollywood’s biggest action heroes and became the foundation of Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe.
Ek Tha Tiger recently received global recognition when it was featured at the International Spy Museum in Washington DC, placed alongside legendary spy films such as James Bond and Mission Impossible. Now, with its re-release, fans are eager to relive the thrill, action, and romance that made the film an all-time hit.
Directed by Kabir Khan, the film introduced audiences to India’s beloved spy, Tiger, played by Salman Khan, with Katrina Kaif starring opposite him. It also featured Ranvir Shorey, Roshan Seth, Girish Karnad, and Gavie Chahal in important roles.
On the work front, Salman is busy with multiple projects, including hosting Bigg Boss 19 and filming the war drama Battle of Galwan. Speculation is also high that he may team up again with Kabir Khan for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, which fans are eagerly awaiting.
