Belandur Auto Tippler Centre Inspected

In a bid to strengthen waste management and operational efficiency, Bengaluru East City Corporation Commissioner Ramesh D.S. conducted an inspection of the Auto Tippler Mustering Centre located within the Belandur ward boundary on Sunday morning. The visit was aimed at evaluating the functioning of the centre and ensuring smooth coordination of waste collection vehicles operating in the area.

During the inspection, Commissioner Ramesh reviewed the organization and readiness of the auto tipplers stationed at the centre, verifying that vehicles were well-maintained and equipped to handle daily waste collection efficiently. Officials were instructed to maintain timely schedules and ensure that tipplers were dispatched promptly to cover all assigned localities without delay.

The Commissioner also assessed the management of collected waste at the centre, emphasizing the importance of proper handling and segregation before transfer to designated disposal sites. He highlighted that effective monitoring at mustering points plays a crucial role in reducing delays, avoiding pile-ups, and maintaining sanitation standards across the ward.

In addition to operational checks, Commissioner Ramesh interacted with staff members to understand challenges faced in daily waste collection, including traffic congestion, vehicle maintenance issues, and coordination among teams. He assured that necessary measures would be taken to address these concerns and improve overall efficiency.

This inspection underscores Bengaluru East City Corporation’s commitment to enhancing urban sanitation and waste management practices. Regular monitoring of mustering centres and timely interventions are expected to strengthen the city’s waste collection network and ensure a cleaner, healthier environment for Belandur residents.
