My son KE Kantesh is an aspirant for the BJP ticket in the Haveri-Gadag Parliamentary Constituency, but the candidates will be finalised by the party’s state and national leaders, clarified former Minister KS Eshwarappa.
Speaking to media persons, Eshwarappa noted that the party’s top brass will allot tickets in all aspects. The party will decide whether I will run in the Lok Sabha elections. We will face the election based on three factors Hindutva, organisation and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the next parliamentary election, we will retain all seats, he said.
Charging the Congress party, he said it had come to power in the state by giving false assurances to the people. People have already noticed Congress’ intentions – to gain power. The government has been imposing conditions day by day for beneficiaries. People will face hard days during the Congress government’s rule in the state. These Congress leaders practice appeasement for minorities. All this will help BJP secure more seats in the forthcoming elections, Eshwarappa added.
BJP leaders also visited the Renuka Darshani Hotel and met Bunt community people as part of the party’s Maha Sampark Abhiyan on the occasion.
