During the verification of the Aadhaar Card submitted by the children to the schools on the instructions of the Education Department, it was found that the names in the Aadhaar card of about 15 lakh students did not match the names mentioned during the school registration. So the authorities have suggested that the parents should correct the names in the Aadhaar cards. In a circular issued on February 17, the central government has directed to update the Aadhaar number for enrollment of students for various scholarships and various entrance tests under the Backward Classes Welfare, Minorities Welfare and Labor Welfare Departments. Accordingly, children should submit Aadhaar card compulsorily to schools. Accordingly, the students submitted the Aadhaar card to the schools.
