An alarming incident took place in Ramanagara when the carriages of the train separated while moving. The carriages of a train that was running at Ramanagara railway station on Sunday night got separated and the passengers of the train got worried. The Tuticorin Express, which was going from Mysore to Bangalore, reached Ramanagara station around 8 pm, from where the sound was heard while continuing its journey. While watching, the coaches in the middle of the train separated. The passengers in the train were shocked by this. Then the train stopped there. Fortunately no one was injured in the incident. A passenger who informed about this said, the train had left Ramanagara station. Then there was a sudden noise. It was seen that the carriage we were in had separated from the carriage in front and was standing still on the track. We were shocked by this. However, the railway staff did not come to help. The local railway officials rushed to the spot without knowing the matter and carried out an investigation. Officials are investigating the incident. After the incident, the Tuticorin Express stopped at Ramanagara station, and preparations are underway for the alignment of the tracks. Trains between Bangalore and Mysore continued to run on another track.
As it was a Sunday, the number of passengers in the trains increased and those in the Tuticorin train struggled to continue their journey to Bangalore. Passengers who had booked advance tickets stood at the station and demanded the station officials to make alternative arrangements.
