Three women were injured when a gas cylinder exploded at the house of one Khaja Bee near Ishwar temple in Netaji Nagar locality. The woman, who was near the door of the house, was caught on CCTV lying outside due to the explosion.
When Khaja Bee had gone to use gas for cooking, the cylinder suddenly exploded. Three persons, including a woman, who had come to do housework, were injured in the incident. CCTV cameras installed in the locality showed the door of the house being broken down due to a cylinder blast and the footage of the woman lying on the road outside.
There was panic among the residents in the vicinity for some time due to the intense explosion. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in the city for treatment. A woman is said to have been seriously injured. The incident took place under Netaji Nagar police station limits.
