The Flying Surveillance Team (FST) raided the residence of Manohar Tahsildar, a former MLA from Hanagal constituency in Haveri district, who recently joined the JD(S). Officials conducted a raid after receiving information that they had brought money and sarees to give to voters.
Despite searching every nook and corner of the house, the surveillance team officials could not find any allurements. Following this, the officials returned empty-handed.
Former Minister Manohar Tahsildar said, qn FST team led by one Gundapalli raided our house and conducted an inspection. However, the officials returned without getting any money or sarees. The other party must have given the information. Nothing else has been found except publicity material. So, the officials went away, he said.
