The KRS party has requested the Election Commission to stop broadcasting the programs of cinema artistes participating in this election campaign till the election is over. Karnataka Rashtra Samiti Party State President Ravi Krishnareddy has written a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer of the Central Election Commission in this regard. In that letter, some parties and candidates call movie actors and actresses for election campaigns. Artistes who are not members of any party are mostly paid to campaign. In this regard, the cinematographers involved in the election campaign have demanded that the program be banned from the visual media. Kiccha Sudeep, a veteran artist of Kannada cinema, has officially announced that he will campaign for CM Basavaraj Bommayi and the candidates he mentioned in a press conference held on Wednesday with BJP party leaders. In the coming days, many more artistes will participate in the election campaign on behalf of various parties and candidates. In order to ensure a free and fair election in the state without illegal temptation and undue influence, he has immediately demanded that all artists participating in the election campaign should be banned from all visual media till the end of the election.
