Former Congress minister Anjanamurthy passed away on Thursday. Anjanamurthy died of a heart attack at the age of 72. Anjanamurthy, a resident of Indira Nagar in Nelamangala district of Bengaluru Rural, was suffering from breathing problems. He was admitted to the hospital two days ago. It is known that he died of heart attack this morning. Anjana Murthy was born on 10th April 1941. Graduates of BA, BL From 1989-1994 and 1999 to 23 February 2007, and he was elected three times with a majority of 37000 votes over his nearest rival. In March 1993, he was elected unopposed as the Deputy Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He was the Housing Minister from 2005-06. He participated in the 89th Inter-Parliamentary Conference held in New Delhi. In 1994, he participated in the All India Conference of Prelates held in Bhubaneswar. Anjana Murthy was honored with the Shiromani Vikas Award by the Shiomani Institute, New Delhi. Received several honors including Manav Seva Puraskar, Special Scroll of Honor in 1993.
