At an annual session of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), an NGO with roots in India presented projects it has undertaken, such as reflective stickers for bicycles, a Helmet Bank, and a Children’s Challan Book, for road safety and environmental protection.
To recover more quickly from the epidemic and realize the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the ECOSOC summit emphasized the necessity for “revitalized partnerships.” Ravee Singh Ahluwalia, the CEO of the Patiala Foundation, took part in the Economic and Social Council Annual Partnership Forum 2023, which took place this week at the UN headquarters and brought attention to the need for coordinated efforts to address issues brought on by the pandemic, the conflict in Ukraine, and other crises.
