The Karnataka government issued unified guidelines to standardize family tree verification certificates across the state. Revenue Department Additional Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Kataria confirmed through a circular that applications will now be processed exclusively online. Citizens must submit a notarized affidavit printed on Rs 100 paper, identity proofs, and family identification documents. Local village officials will visit residences to verify details before submitting recommendations to the revenue inspector. The Deputy Tahsildar holds final authority over approvals, and successful applicants will receive digital confirmation letters.
