NDTV Profit has announced the nominees for the Business Leadership Awards 2026, recognising prominent leaders, companies, and institutions contributing to India’s changing business landscape.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Mumbai on July 26. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will attend the event as the chief guest, where winners selected by a distinguished jury will be honoured.

The jury is chaired by Bharti Enterprises Founder and Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal and includes prominent figures such as Noel Tata, Chairman of Tata Trusts; Cyril Shroff, Managing Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas; Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Chairperson of Biocon Group; former SEBI Chairman U.K. Sinha; Everstone Group President Jayant Sinha; investor Ramesh Damani; and State Bank of India Chairman C.S. Setty.

NDTV CEO and Editor-in-Chief Rahul Kanwal said the awards recognise leadership that builds institutions, creates long-term value, strengthens trust, and contributes to India’s economic growth.

The awards, which have been recognising business excellence since 2006, feature nominees from across India’s corporate ecosystem, including established companies, emerging technology firms, public sector organisations, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

This year’s award categories cover areas such as artificial intelligence, financial services, green growth, philanthropy, public policy, initial public offerings, self-reliance, entertainment, and leadership across public and private sectors.

NDTV Profit Managing Editor Tamanna Inamdar said the nominations reflect India’s growing capabilities in technology, governance, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and innovation. She added that the shortlisted leaders and organisations represent the country’s expanding influence in the global business environment.

The awards aim to celebrate individuals and institutions that are shaping the future of India’s economic development through innovation, responsible leadership, and sustainable growth.
