District in-charge Minister HK Patil launched an innovative program called Prabhuvinedege Prabhutva (PP) in the district on August 15. Deputy Commissioner CN Sridhar gave strict instructions to the officials to respond quickly to the problems of the public coming to PP.
He spoke while presiding over the progress review meeting of the programme held at the city’s District Commissioner’s office. The PP machine has been installed in three places in the city, including the district stadium. He said that it will be helpful for the public to find a solution quickly by expressing their problems through this machine by pressing a button.
District Census Officer AA Kambalimath has already been appointed as the district level nodal officer of the programme to supervise. Deputy Commissioner Sridhar warned that disciplinary action is inevitable against irresponsible officers.
“The problems, complaints received from the public through the PP machines should be examined and a solution should be suggested within 7 days. A clear answer should be given to the complainant. There is no scope for a quick answer. If the complaint is not resolved, a reasoned answer should be given. Progress will be made monthly in the coming days. The department heads should attend the meeting. In addition, a progress report should be submitted to the district nodal officer before the meeting. The P.P. instructed for effective implementation by following all these guidelines,” said DC.
“This is an ambitious program of District In-charge Minister Dr HK Patil, and has been implemented to streamline the administrative system and provide quick solutions to the public. For its success, the officers should work hard and take action against the negligent and delayed officers,” Deputy Commissioner CN Sridhar clarified in the meeting.
