Vetri Maaran’s Vaadivaasal that stars Suriya has been creating quite a buzz in the past year or so. While the pre-production work on the film has been going on in full swing, the latest is that actor Karunas has joined the team. But this time, not as an actor, but as an assistant director.
In a statement issues by Karunas, the actor said that he was kicked to be a part of this film. He said that while he started his journey as a gana singer, it was his career in acting that got him a wider recognition. And now, he has decided to travel fully into the world of cinema by assisting Vetri Maaran for the film. The actor also added that while he is busy with several films as an actor, he coudln’t miss out on learning cinema on the ground by being an AD.
Vaadivaasal is said to be based on a story written by Si Su Sellappa’s novel on the same name. GV Prakash will be scoring music for the film, and the composer recently said that he has already composed three songs, and it will be a rustic album. Cinematographer R Velraj will be cranking the camera.
