CS Amudhan hints at ‘Tamizh Padam 3’

Director CS Amudhan who made his debut as a director in Tamil cinema with the film ‘Tamizh Padam a spoof comedy is now one of the impressive filmmakers. Following ‘Tamizh Padam’, his next was ‘Tamizh Padam 2’, and both the films focussed on the spoof comedy and other contemporary references of other hit Tamil films. With Shiva as the lead in both these films, it emerged as a successful film.
Now, CS Amudhan hints at the third franchise of ‘Tamizh Padam’. Interacting with his fans through Twitter, CS Amudhan stated that there is a chance of ‘Tamizh Padam 3’. When the fans asked about ‘Tamizh Padam 3’, the director replied, “Let everyone else first finish releasing their films,” indirectly indicating that there are plans for the next sequel of ‘Tamizh Padam’.
Apart from direction, the movie has reached great heights because of the spotless and effortless acting of Mirchi Shiva as the lead role. Meanwhile, CS Amudhan is now directing the film ‘Ratham’ with Vijay Antony in the lead role. ‘Ratham’ is the first serious film that CS Amudhan will be directing.
Just a few days ago, CS Amudhan commented on Ilaiyaraaja and AR Rahman’s post on composing music together for AR Rahman’s Firdous Orchestra in Dubai. He commented that if the music composed by both the maestros are good enough, he will use it for his movie.
