‘Salaam Soldier’, the second single from ‘James’, out now

Team ‘James’, in the lead-up to the grand theatrical release on March 17th, has released the second single from the film’s soundtrack. Titled ‘Salaam Soldier’, the song comes in the lyrical video format with Puneeth Rajkumar seen in his full glory as an army officer. Sung by Sanjith Hegde and Charan Raj, the song packs energy and intensity to fittingly match the Powerstar’s charm.
Charan Raj, who composes for a Puneeth Rajkumar film for the very first time in his career, appeared in the video version of the first single ‘Trademark’. The same song also featured Rachita Ram, Sreeleela, Ashika Ranganath, and Chandan Shetty – director Chethan Kumar has penned the lyrics of both the tracks.
‘James’ will hit the big screens on the special occasion of Puneeth Rajkumar’s birthday. The film, touted to be the biggest release in Karnataka to date, will reportedly have 4000 shows on Day 1 with the film releasing across 400 theatres in the state. Fans too are geared up beforehand with massive preparations for the release. ‘James’ will be Puneeth Rajkumar’s final outing as a lead – he is paired with his ‘Raajakumaara’ costar Priya Anand for the second time.
Shiva Rajkumar stepped in to dub for his younger brother and wrapped up the work recently. He will also be seen in a special cameo along with Raghavendra Rajkumar.
