Basavaraj Dhannoor, Vice President of the Global Lingayat Mahasabha’s Central Committee and President of its Abhiyana Committee, has been given the responsibility to host the concluding ceremony of the Basava Samskruti Abhiyana in Bengaluru on October 5.
The announcement was made during the main programme recently held in Bidar by Tontad Siddharama Swamiji of Gadag Tontadarya Mutt and Dr. Basavalinga Pattadevaru, President of the Union of Lingayat Seers.
Dhannoor has been recognised for his exceptional efforts in organising the campaign in a historic and exemplary manner. In appreciation of his contributions, he and his wife were honoured with a shawl by the revered seers, marking their dedication and service to the community.
The Basava Samskruti Abhiyana, aimed at promoting Lingayat culture and values, has been successfully conducted across several regions, with Dhannoor playing a key role in coordinating activities and engaging the community. The Bengaluru conclusion is expected to be a grand event, celebrating the achievements of the campaign and reinforcing the cultural heritage of the Lingayat community.
