Tamil Nadu religious and Charitable Endowment minister, P Sekar Babu’s daughter met Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra on Wednesday and sought police protection for herself and her husband.
The newly wedded couple, Jayakalyani (24) and Sathish (27) after meeting the Additional Police Commissioner in the afternoon, have appealed the Home minister, seeking protection for their life.
Jayakalyani, who had, introduced herself as a MBBS graduate, informed that she had got married to Sathish, with mutual consent.
Expressing apprehension about the safety, she said that, false cases are being hoisted against her husband and hence facing threat to their lives.
The minister after blessing the newly wedded couple, spoke to the City Police Commissioner Kamal Panth over the issue.
The minister assuring the protection, also advised them to meet the Police Commissioner Kamal Panth on the matter.
