MLC Ivan D’Souza has alleged that the rise in prices of commercial gas cylinders, petrol, and diesel is due to the policies of the BJP-led central government. Speaking in Mangaluru, he said that increasing fuel and cooking gas prices are placing a heavy financial burden on ordinary people and affecting household budgets. He blamed government decisions for the worsening economic pressure on citizens. He further said that common people are struggling due to continuous price hikes in essential commodities. He urged the government to take immediate steps to control fuel and gas prices and provide relief to the public. He demanded swift policy intervention from authorities.
