Blurb: He claims TVK stands firmly for unity, inclusiveness, and the welfare of all sections of society

In a detailed statement addressed to the people of the state, Vijay expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming love and encouragement he has received since stepping into politics.
He acknowledged that his journey has not been easy, describing it as one filled with unimaginable challenges, restrictions and pain. Despite these hurdles, he said the consistent support from the public has kept him motivated and committed to his political mission.
Sharpening his attack on political rivals, Vijay criticised the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), calling it a people-opposing force. He also accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of promoting divisive politics and ideologies that, according to him, threaten social harmony. Positioning his party as a people-centric alternative, Vijay said TVK stands firmly for unity, inclusiveness, and the welfare of all sections of society.
Vijay further asserted that he would not succumb to pressure from what he described as fascist forces or corporate entities attempting to influence political outcomes. He emphasised that intimidation or coercion would not weaken the bond he shares with the people of Tamil Nadu. No force in the world can separate us, he said, expressing confidence in the collective strength of the people.
Highlighting the rise of TVK, Vijay credited divine grace, as well as the support of women and youth, for transforming the party into a growing political force in the state. He noted that his entry into politics was not backed by traditional political structures or powerful networks but was instead driven by grassroots support from ordinary citizens.
He also issued a warning to voters against opportunistic politicians who, he claimed, enter public life for personal gain while compromising the future of younger generations. Vijay urged voters to remain vigilant and reject such forces, stating that supporting them would indirectly strengthen divisive elements.
As Tamil Nadu prepares for the April 23 Assembly elections, Vijay’s message underscores an intensified campaign effort by TVK to mobilise voters and establish itself as a credible alternative in the state’s evolving political landscape.
