Chief Minister Mohan Yadav sparked a wave of excitement among local entrepreneurs by announcing a massive boost for small businesses.
During a special ceremony, he revealed that the budget for the “Udyog Kranti Yojana”—the state’s flagship scheme for industries—will skyrocket from ₹8,000 crore to a staggering ₹28,000 crore in the coming years.
This bold move signals the government’s serious commitment to turning Madhya Pradesh into an industrial powerhouse.
The Chief Minister didn’t just make promises; he also put money into action. Over ₹169 crore was immediately released to support startups and industrial units through direct bank transfers. The state is also moving faster than ever, having allotted more than 1,100 pieces of land to businesses in 2025 alone, which is double what was achieved in the previous five years combined. With over 7,200 startups now calling the state home, the local tech and business scene is officially booming.
Looking forward, CM Yadav declared the upcoming year as the “Year of Farmer Welfare.” He plans to bring farmers and factory owners together to build food processing units. This will help farmers get better prices for their crops by turning them into finished products locally. By clearing all old subsidy backlogs and promising regular quarterly payments, the government is making it easier than ever for small dreams to become big businesses. This massive investment is expected to create thousands of jobs and ensure a wealthier future for the state’s youth.
