The devotional film ‘Amalaamrutha’ has been produced by Mysore-based Gururajarao.M.S. under Siri Productions along with Dirction. A special screening was arranged for the Yatis of Rayara Matas and government officers just the other day. Everyone who watched and praised the film.
K.S.Govindaramarao has played the lead roles as Bahlikaraja, Vyasaraja and Raghavendra Swami. The rest are played by Veerendra Acharya, Subbarao, Master Suchendra, Chaitra Bharadwaj, Yashas, Suman, Deepak, Srikanth. Vidushi Ratnaprasad has composed the music for the eight lyrics of Haridas. The cinematography is by Pradeep, and the editing is by Swami.
As the director says, I had previously prepared a documentary film on Purandaradasa and Sri Padaraja. I have directed and invested from this experience. Amala and Amrita are both composed of the title. The fruit of the Nava Bhakuti Jnanayaghna is called Amala, and the essence is called Amruta.
