Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has warned that anti-independence forces, supported by domestic and foreign conspiracies, are attempting to weaken the ideals of the 1971 Liberation War. Speaking on Independence Day, she recalled the nation’s struggle under her father, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and paid tribute to freedom fighters, martyrs, and women who suffered atrocities. Hasina stressed that Bangladeshis will unite again with the same spirit and patriotism that won independence. She urged citizens to uphold the legacy of the Liberation War and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to justice, unity, and resilience against conspiracies.
