Actor Vivek passed away on 17th April 2021 due to a heart attack, and his sudden demise has shocked the entire Kollywood. The talented actor had contributed a lot to the community and he had left an unfilled dream of planting one crore tree saplings. Recently, on the actor’s first death anniversary, his wife Arulselvi requested the Tamil Nadu government to rename the street where they live in the honor of her late husband. The Tamil Nadu government has now accepted the request and has named the lane as Chinna Kalaivanar Vivek street.
Fans are happy with the government’s recognition of late actor Vivek and thank the government on social media. Fans have also taken hands on the unfilled dream of Vivek and are planting tree saplings across places to achieve the one-crore mark.
Actor Vivek was a comedian, TV celebrity, playback singer, and social activist with many faces. Vivek made his onscreen debut with K Balachander’s directorial ‘Manathil Uruthi Vendum’, and he has acted in over 200 films in Tamil. Vivek impressed the fans with his unique comedy filled with a social message, and he was an inspiration for many.
