At a rally in Chaibasa, Jharkhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly criticized the Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), calling them anti-Adivasi. He accused these parties of disrespecting India’s first female Adivasi President and failing to support the community’s interests.

PM Modi recalled the region’s history of resistance, stating, Kolhan once drove out the British, and now it is set to oust the corrupt JMM government. He confidently predicted a BJP victory, saying, From the enthusiasm here, it’s clear that BJP will form the next government with record-breaking seats.

Modi emphasized the BJP’s commitment to Jharkhand’s needs through the slogan Roti, beti, aur maati ki pukaar, Jharkhand me BJP-NDA sarkar, signifying a focus on livelihood, daughters, and land. Highlighting BJP’s pro-Adivasi record, he noted the creation of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh under Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s leadership and the BJP’s continuous advocacy for Adivasi rights.

Contrasting with Congress and RJD, whom he blamed for anti-Adivasi actions like the 1980s Gua Goli Kand, Modi underscored BJP’s appointment of Adivasi leaders, including President Droupadi Murmu. He accused opponents of insulting Adivasi aspirations and alliances with anti-Adivasi forces, urging voters to remember their history and choose leaders who support them.
