North Korea has conducted a test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on Thursday morning, with leader Kim Jong Un supervising the launch. He emphasized that the country will continue its nuclear development policy.
Kim stated that the missile test was a necessary military action to warn other nations about North Korea’s military intentions. He pointed out that the growing military cooperation among rival nations makes it essential to enhance their own nuclear capabilities.
“We should never allow any threat to approach our security,” Kim said. He affirmed that North Korea will maintain its commitment to strengthening its nuclear forces.
The Ministry of National Defense confirmed the missile test, which the state news agency claimed demonstrates North Korea’s advanced missile technology and solidifies its status as a strong military power.
