Ajay Singh, President of Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board, announced that the upcoming by-elections in all three constituencies of the state will be contested under the guidance of CM Siddaramaiah. He made this statement while addressing the media.
Responding to the allegations against Siddaramaiah regarding the MUDA scam, Dr Singh firmly stated, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s name is being unnecessarily dragged into the MUDA scam.
However, there is no question of changing the Chief Minister. He will continue as the Chief Minister for the entire five-year term. He emphasized their commitment to fighting the by-elections in Sandur, Shiggavi and Channapattana under the CM’s leadership.
Commenting on BJP leader CP Yogeshwar joining the Congress party, Singh expressed that it is a positive development, although it has come as a surprise to BJP. He clarified that their party does not engage in family politics, stating, DK Suresh could have asked for a ticket. However, he did not ask. MLA K Raghavendra Hitnal and Municipal Council President Amjad Patel were present.
