Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) recently introduced seven innovative initiatives designed to transform connectivity and enhance digital security across India. These initiatives focus on three main pillars: security, affordability, and reliability.
As part of this launch, BSNL unveiled a new logo symbolizing its commitment to providing secure, affordable, and dependable connectivity throughout the nation. The logo was presented by Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia, alongside Minister of State for Communications Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar. The bold tagline Connecting Bharat reflects BSNL’s dedication to narrowing the digital gap by offering a robust telecom network that serves both urban and rural areas.
One key feature of BSNL’s initiatives is a spam-blocking solution that filters out phishing attempts and malicious SMS, creating a safer communication environment for users without requiring alerts. Additionally, BSNL has launched a unique seamless Wi-Fi roaming service for its FTTH customers, allowing high-speed internet access at BSNL hotspots without extra charges.
Moreover, BSNL’s fibre-based intranet TV service offers over 500 live channels and Pay TV to all FTTH subscribers at no additional cost, with data usage for viewing not impacting their data packs. Finally, BSNL is providing reliable, low-latency 5G connectivity for mining operations, utilizing homegrown technology to support advanced applications in underground and opencast mines.
