Karnataka Rajyotsava will be celebrated on November 1. The Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Roshan, stated that the Black Day celebration will not be permitted for any reason. He led a pre-meeting regarding the event at the Zilla Panchayat hall.

Preparations for the celebration, which coincides with the Diwali festival, have been instructed by the Deputy Commissioner. A committee will be formed to honor those who fought for the Kannada language and culture, as well as media representatives. A special gallery will be set up for women participating in the Rajyotsava procession.

In response to a suggestion by activist Mehboob Makanadar, it was assured that portraits of individuals who fought to keep the district within Karnataka will be installed along the procession route. Pro-Kannada organizations insisted that Ashoka Chandragi be recommended for this year’s Karnataka Rajyotsava state award.

Srinivasa Talukara, a pro-Kannada fighter, requested that more individuals be honored for Karnataka’s Golden Jubilee and that controversial flags should not be allowed in the procession. Deepaka Gudaganatti mentioned that Channamma Circle should be decorated as in previous years. Adequate parking arrangements for vehicles of the public attending the Rajyotsava will also be made.

City Police Commissioner Yada Martin Marbanyang, District Police Superintendent Dr. Bhima Shankar Guleda, and other officials attended the meeting.
