Rahul Gandhi called the results of the Haryana Assembly elections ‘unexpected’ on Wednesday. He said complaints from various constituencies would be taken to the Election Commission. He also thanked the people of Jammu and Kashmir, describing the victory there as a win for the Constitution and democracy. He added that the Congress party is reviewing the election results.

Gandhi expressed his gratitude to the people of Haryana for their support. He assured that the party would continue fighting for social and economic justice, as well as for citizens’ rights.

Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, from the BJP, credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the party’s victory in the Haryana Assembly elections for a third consecutive term. He attributed the success to government policies that have benefited many sections of society, including farmers, youth, and women.

Saini mentioned that exit poll predictions favoring Congress had been proven wrong. He also stated that Congress had been overconfident due to these predictions. The BJP’s victory was attributed to the work done under Modi’s leadership.

Saini further accused the AAP of corruption and claimed that Congress and AAP had an understanding during elections. In the final results, the BJP won 48 out of 90 seats in Haryana, while Congress secured 37. Independents took 3 seats, and the Indian National Lok Dal won 2.
