The South Western Railway will run special trains between Yeshwanthapur-Karwar and Mysuru-Karwar stations to clear extra rush during the Dasara festival.
Train No. 06569 Yesvantpur-Karwar Special Express will depart from Yesvantpur on October 11 at 00.30 hrs and arrive in Karwar at 4.15 pm on the same day.
En route, the train will have stoppages at Kunigal, Channarayapatna, Hassan, Sakaleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabakaputtur, Bantawala, Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Barkur, Kundapura, Byndoor Halt, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Honnavar, Kumta, Gokarna Road, and Ankola stations.
Train No. 06570 Karwar-Mysuru Special Express will depart from Karwar on October 11 at 11.30 pm and arrive in Mysuru at 4.40 pm the next day.
The train will have stoppages   at Ankola, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Honnavar, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Byndoor Halt, Kundapura, Barkur, Udupi, Mulki, Surathkal, Bantawala, Kabakaputtur, Subrahmanya Road, Sakleshpur, Hassan, Channarayapatna, Kunigal, Yesvantpur, KSR Bengaluru and Mandya stations.
Train No. 06585 will commence its journey from Mysuru at 9.20 pm on October 12 and reach Karwar at 4.40 pm the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 06586 will leave Karwar at 11.30 pm on October 13 and reach   Mysuru, at 4.40 pm the next day.   these special trains (06585/86) will have halts at Mandya, KSR Bengaluru, Yeshwanthapur, Kunigal, Channarayapatna, Hassan, Sakaleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabakaputtur, Bantawala, Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Barkur, Kundapura, Byndoor Halt, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Honnavar, Kumta, Gokarna Road and Ankola stations.
These special trains will consist of 18 coaches, including: AC-Two-tier-2, AC Three-tier-2, Sleeper Class-6, General Second Class-6, and SLR/D-2.
