Mumbai metro extends train services for Navratri

Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Ltd (MMMOCL) has announced extended Metro train services during the Navratri Festival to meet increased demand. Sanjay Mukherjee, the Metropolitan Commissioner of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), highlighted the need for better transportation options for late-night commuters attending the celebrations.

From October 7 to October 11, the Metro will operate 12 extra trips daily, with a 15-minute interval, ensuring convenient travel for those celebrating until midnight. Mukherjee stated that providing safe and efficient transportation is crucial for the festival. Rubal Agarwal, Managing Director of MMMOCL, emphasized their commitment to enhancing the commuter experience during this festive season, ensuring reliable travel for all.
