With 233 points after two rounds of the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup, INDE Racing from India is poised for a podium finish in the Grand Final in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. They trail Bonnell Racing by just 3 points and Honda Racing Company by 20 points.

The team will have the opportunity to accumulate more points during two races this weekend. Abhishek Kankanala, the owner of INDE Racing, expressed optimism about securing the first World Championship title for an Indian team. ‘We are just a few steps away from making this vision a reality,’ he said.

Riders Sandra Gomez from Spain and Spenser Wilton from Canada are set to compete. Sandra finished second in the second round in Oslo, bringing her total to 135 points, the highest among female riders. Spenser, who was injured before the second round, had Runar Sudmann replace him, resulting in 98 points for the male rider.

Spenser acknowledged the challenges of missing the second round due to injury but emphasized the team’s strong position. The Grand Final track features a technical course combining supercross and enduroCross elements. Sandra noted the track’s difficulty but expressed confidence in her ability to adapt and perform well.
