A teacher at a private school in Bhopal has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a three-year-old girl student. The incident came to light on Wednesday when the parents of the victim filed a police complaint.

A medical examination confirmed the assault, leading to the teacher’s arrest. The accused, identified as Kasim Rehan, was allegedly teaching Information Technology at the school.

The police are investigating the case and questioning school staff and administration. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has condemned the act and promised swift justice.

The opposition Congress party has raised concerns about the safety of women and girls in the state, criticizing the government’s law and order situation.
