Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Vettaiyan is scheduled to release on October 10. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, known for Jai Bhim, the film features a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Abhirami, Manju Warrier, and Rakshan. The music, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, has already garnered positive attention, especially the first single, ‘Manasilaayo’.
In an interview with Rednool, Anirudh Ravichander praised Vettaiyan as a significant shift for Rajinikanth, expressing his excitement about the project after hearing Gnanavel’s narration. He believes the film’s strong content will resonate with contemporary audiences, offering a fresh experience compared to Rajinikanth’s previous collaborations with him, such as Petta, Darbar, and Jailer.
A grand pre-release event for Vettaiyan is planned for September 20 in Chennai. The film will have a solo release, avoiding competition with Suriya’s Kanguva, ensuring Rajinikanth’s film takes center stage.
